Here at David Alan Salon, we strive to cater to the beauty and personal needs of our community. We are a high end salon highly trained in all salon and spa services. Each of our stylists were hand picked and truly showcase the best and the brightest of Nashville. With continuing efforts to grow through education and community involvement, we aim to please in all we do at David Alan.

Our Story

My name is Stephanie Harrison and I am the owner of David Alan Salon. I absolutely love what I do and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I was born and raised in southern California before moving to Nashville in 2013.  When my work with high profile clientele brought me to the gorgeous hills of South Nashville, it was more than the stunning scenery that I fell in love with. I adore the people here, not to mention the big hair! My grandfather was actually my inspiration. A phenomenal barber for many years, I remember learning to shave with a straight razor in my early teens. I guess you could say it runs in the family! I have dreamed for years of owning my own salon, so when that dream became a reality I knew exactly what the name was supposed to be. David Alan Harrison was my oldest brother and we were very close. On June 21, David was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia and on January 11, he lost his life to it. David was my hero. An incredible man of vision and strength, I knew that I had to name the salon after him. I want to bring awareness to this horrible disease and comfort any families that are tragically impacted by it. In honor of David, I wake up everyday and walk through the doors of a building with his name on it. He inspires me to do great work, to live with courage, and to believe in the face of great adversity that there is always hope. David’s legacy lives on through the salon and I couldn’t be prouder of that.
